With this option, the student submits his or her list of activities that will appear on the college application. The student will also submit 4 – 7 possible essay topics, each including a 5 to 7 sentence abstract. A panel of 4 members from one of our Admission Committees will review the options and convey which essay topic(s) they believe to be the best choice for the student in winning over an admission committee. Three day turn around.
Committee Essay Review - $300
Our most affordable committee review. A 5 member committee will review the student’s personal essay. One committee member will serve as an editor, commenting solely on grammatical and structural matters. The other four committee members will each offer a half-page commentary on the student’s essay, offering the student insight into how his or her main essay will be perceived by an admission committee. Each member will also offer suggestions on how to improve the essay. Five day turn around.
The Full Committee - $500
Our most comprehensive application review contains three phases with a seven-member committee and features a committee-style rating system. The student submits the list of activities, awards, and positions held that will appear on his or her college application. The student will also include one short answer of his or her choice and a personal essay not exceeding 600 words.
Phase 1
The application will be reviewed and scored by three committee members. Each will offer commentary and suggestions on how to improve the application to impress an admission committee.
Phase 2
The student will have a chance to make corrections and then submit the application to the editor. This one person on the committee will solely comment on the grammatical and structural issues with the application.
Phase 3
After making suggested corrections from the editor, the student’s application will be reviewed by a final group of three committee members. Seven day turn around.
