Do you offer more counseling options?
We often partner with independent college counselors to help their students prepare for the real admission process. However, we do not offer any other services of our own. We will not charge you thousands of dollars to guide you in a direction we cannot guarantee. What we can guarantee is an experience that closely replicates what an actual admission committee will do with your application. We can refer you to independent counselors who are honest and reasonably priced when requested.

Do you offer your application services for law school, med school, or any other than undergraduate?
We do not currently offer our application services for anything other than the undergraduate admission process for selective universities. The graduate admission process can vary widely from program to program. Our committee is made only of experienced admission decision makers from the undergraduate admission process. It is possible to use our Committee Review service for an essay for another admission process, but it is not recommended.

If I don't like your answers, can I get my money back?
Most of the time getting a candid response from admission professionals is exactly the best thing the student (or parent) needs to hear. Although it can be painful, by taking their critiques and suggestions seriously, students can reposition themselves in their essays and application before they submit the final drafts to their school(s) of choice. If you can provide verified feedback from a former admission officer that meets the same criteria of our committee, and that person makes a valid argument that we added no valuable insight to the student’s essay or application, we will refund the fee for our services.

Why do you not reveal the identities of those on your committee?
We keep our committee members' identities protected for two main reasons.

Although none of our committee members plan to give away restricted information on their former employers, we want them to comment freely without fear of disclosing "too much." Many authors have spilled confidential admission policies in books and articles and we don't exactly agree with that. We want to preserve the relationship of our committee members with their beloved institutions and former employers, but still help families of college-bound students.

Second, we want our committee members to be completely candid with you. Many times this means receiving feedback or information that may be difficult to hear. But know that most genuine admission committees hold no punches when comparing thousands of students to one another. By keeping our committee members' identities protected, you will be getting the most raw and honest review you can find in the college admission process.
